Zeta Compliance Group's Three Peaks Challenge

On the 9th/10th July 2011 a team of thirteen Zeta Compliance Group plc employees will be attempting the three peaks challenge to raise money for charity.

The three peaks challenge involves climbing the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales within 24hours. To complete the challenge the team will be aiming to climb each mountain in 4-5 hours, some of the climbing will be done in darkness and there is a good possibility that they will be facing poor weather conditions. The Zeta Compliance Group three peaks challenge team are currently undergoing a training plan to prepare them for the event. The team aim to begin the challenge at 5pm on Saturday 9th July and to have completed the challenge by 5pm on Sunday 10th July. Four support team members will be assisting the climbers throughout the challenge, providing transport, logistics, food and kit.

The Zeta Compliance Group three peaks challenge team are hoping that through their efforts and sponsorship they will raise money for UKSA. UKSA is a registered charity that works to change the lives of young people- particularly those who are at risk or excluded, learning disadvantaged, refusers, bullied, physically less-able, young carers, and both low and high achievers through maritime training and experiences. The charity has enhanced the lives of many young people with results such as improved school results, attendance, behaviour and active lifestyles.

Zeta Compliance Group believe that through UKSA, children are given a chance to experience great personal achievements which we hope will give them the drive and confidence to overcome difficult circumstances and fulfil their ambitions. Zeta Compliance Group are hoping that through the money raised by their three peaks challenge they will be able to give a number of children from our local area and throughout the UK the chance to experience what UKSA have to offer.
